Quiet

The land faces east and south for beautiful sunrises. The lake is pristine, long and narrow, with many intricate bays and islands, in a beautiful hardwood forest setting. Perfectly suited for quiet paddlesports, swimming and fishing. Small fishing boats with quiet electric engines only.

Wildlife is abundant with deer, squirrels, rabbits, frogs, raccoons, black bear, owls, eagles, hummingbirds and numerous other species of birds.

Peaceful

The lake is brook fed and has a hard gravel/sand bottom. The shoreline provides easy access to the water and is great for swimming and fishing. The water temperature in summer is around 24 degrees Celsius. The road is not plowed in winter, but you may access it by ski or snowmobile.

The night sky is great for stargazers and there is virtually no light pollution. It is known for the best night sky in the country.
